A Passion for Animals

A little bit about Forget Me Not

Forget Me Not Pet Crematorium was founded in 2011 by Susan Jones. Sue is deeply passionate about animals and has a strong understanding of the needs of families who, at a very difficult time, wish to have their beloved pet cared for with dignity and respect. She established the service to provide compassionate, local care for those who want their cherished companion looked after close to home.

In 2024, Sue’s middle daughter, April, joined the company to support her mother and help meet the growing demand for individual cremations delivered with a truly personal touch.

Sue and April offer a truly comprehensive and compassionate service, treating every pet and their family as individuals with unique needs. At Forget Me Not, they provide bereavement advice in a warm, sympathetic, and supportive manner, helping to make saying goodbye to your beloved companion as gentle and painless as possible.

Sue Jones

Passionate about animals since childhood, Sue has turned that lifelong love into a way of life. With David’s support, their home is shared with a delightful menagerie: horses in the paddock, two loyal dogs, a curious cat, a chatty parrot, several busy chickens, a gaggle of geese, and even Crocus, their Dexter cow.

With such a wide variety of animals under her care, Sue has built up a wealth of hands-on experience in animal husbandry. From managing feeding routines and maintaining stables to ensuring the health and wellbeing of both small pets and larger livestock, she brings dedication, knowledge, and genuine compassion to every aspect of animal care.

April Callow

April grew up at Wilton Farm, where she developed a lifelong love of horses and the outdoors. After a successful career in teaching, she recently returned to join the family business, bringing with her strong communication skills and a passion for working with people.

Outside of work, April enjoys staying active through sport and spends much of her time supporting her daughters in cricket and hockey. With a deep appreciation for animals and the natural world, she feels most at home at the farm.

Together, the family offers a rich blend of hands-on animal care knowledge and strong business experience.
