How We Care
It is always a sad and difficult time when it comes to saying goodbye to a loved one. We understand that your pet has been a very special member of your family. Loss and particularly sudden loss can be very traumatic, taking time to say ‘goodbye’ is so very important and can help the grieving process.
We understand how important it is for owners to know that their treasured pet will be looked after with dignity. At Forget Me Not we are committed to providing an exceptional service showing you and your pet the respect and care you both deserve. To us every single pet, from the largest to the very smallest is ‘special’ and receives individual attention. Every aspect of their final journey is handled personally by Sue and Maryjane.
Many Clients choose to bring their pets to us themselves. We have a ‘special farewell room’ where time can be spent saying a final goodbye.
Some Clients arrange to come and meet us and discuss arrangements well before the time comes. It is an opportunity to meet us and ask any questions they might have. We are always on hand to advise and discuss any requests, explain what will happen or just listen.
If you pet is collected from your veterinary surgery, they will be personally identified along with your instructions for cremation.
A certificate of cremation bearing the pets name and date of cremation, personally signed will be returned to you.
Your pets name will be entered in our Book of Remembrance.
